Jensen Huang is betting on Ilya Sutskever
Nvidia has invested in Sutskever’s new company, Safe Superintelligence, and will give the team access to its next-generation Vera Rubin AI systems.
That should allow SSI to increase its computing capacity by 10x. The size of the investment hasn’t been disclosed.
What makes this especially interesting is that Nvidia reportedly made the decision after getting a rare look at the company’s private research.
Apparently, Jensen Huang saw something convincing enough to hand Sutskever access to some of the most valuable and hard-to-get chips on the planet.
