⚡️ OpenAI announced a new frontier model — Astra
In internal tests, Astra made ten major breakthroughs in mathematics and theoretical computer science. Among them are a disproof of Connes rigidity conjecture, the construction of nonsofic groups, and new results in sphere packing, quantum complexity, and lattice cryptography.
It is still unclear whether Astra will launch as GPT 6 or as a separate model above the current lineup.
