Meanwhile, they should be working on $10 and $50 plans.
With Opus out, and Sonnet and Haiku coming later, I don’t see how they’ll be able to compete at the very top. And in the mid and lower tiers, people will probably just go with an Anthropic subscription.
The only real advantages OpenAI has left are unlimited web chat and image generation. But there are rumors they’ll merge Chat and Work, which would mean Chat starts eating into the same limits too.
