Two leading Google researchers, Jonas Adler and Alexander Pritzel, are reportedly planning to join Anthropic. Adler worked on improving Gemini’s coding abilities, while Pritzel focused on training AI models.
This is not the first high-profile departure. John Jumper, a Nobel laureate recognized for his work on AI that predicts protein structures, previously moved to Anthropic. Noam Shazeer, one of the co-authors of the technology behind modern chatbots, is also leaving for OpenAI, Bloomberg reports.
