SAMSUNG TEASES ITS AI GLASSES
Samsung is preparing a direct rival to Meta’s smart glasses. They look like regular glasses and have no display, but come with a built-in camera, microphones, speakers, and AI.
Gemini can see and hear what’s happening around you: answer questions about whatever is in front of you, translate conversations in real time, give directions, read messages, and capture first-person photos and videos.
Inside, there’s a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip and a special version of Gemini built for wearable devices. You can control the glasses using voice, touch, or your smartphone.
They’re expected to launch this fall. Samsung hasn’t announced the price yet, but says the glasses will be a premium product.
